The Academy of Architecture and Construction at Mt. Pleasant High School is designed to prepare students for careers in drafting, architecture, masonry, interior design and electrical.
The STEM Academy of Aviation and Aerospace at West Cabarrus High School introduces students to three fields: aviation (piloting), avionics (maintenance and repair), and aerospace engineering.
The Academy of Engineering and Automation is designed for students interested in STEM careers in robotics, advanced manufacturing, and engineering.
The Academy of Health Sciences at Northwest Cabarrus High School introduces students to health careers like, Registered Nursing, Radiologic Technology, and Physical Therapy, through a series of career exploration courses.
To me, CTE wasn’t just a set of classes – it was a pathway for me to build my own future as an engineer, a thinker, and a leader.
